- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Fabulous hike along the water. This hike is a great warm-up for its longer sibling the North Coast Trail. With 10 rope assists and a broken-down ladder in the first two kilometers hikers need to be aware that the trail is more challenging than meandering along the rocky beaches it parallels up to the 2 km mark where a warning sign advises that you should be prepared to monitor children and infirm adults from this point on.By Debra Hine, February 16, 2017
